Les Chemins de Traversaz is a pedestrian village
with its houses of the ancient times, where you may be woken up one day by the smell of the bread cooked in the communal oven.. paths were you will come across hens and ducks on a midsummer day; at the bend in the path, you will discover old watermills and washhouses, the chapel, fountains… the inhabitants of the village, with their barns and ancient doors, their flowered balconies, all proud of their kitchen garden, and always happy to discuss of the weather or their crops.
This hamlet, hung at an altitude of 1350m, on the sunny side of the Maurienne, lives since the 12th century at the rhythm of the seasons, in a genuine and preserved environment
Les Chemins de Traversaz is a Guest House and a Guest Table
where you will be able to drink in calm, appreciate nature in its subtle delicateness and its vitality. Built beside the Chapel St-Georges, the house was probably one of the first buildings of the village (XIIth century). With its washerwoman beetle, its thick stone walls, its structure in tree-trunks and its listed door, the house charmed us. We renovated it and fitted it in a contemporaneous comfort, still conserving its soul of yesteryear.
The house is open to you now.
